Shawn Powers

Shawn Powers is a Visiting Assistant Professor at USC’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism London Program and a Visiting Research Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science. His research interests are focused on the use of media in times of war and conflict and the potential roles that media technologies can have on resolving cross-cultural disagreements and international tensions.
He previously worked at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and has conducted field and media research in the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
